Guide Where to Go in Legazpi Albay:
1. Lignon Hill Nature Park
There are numerous zip lines around the province but in Lignon Hill, is the best and scariest for me.
2. Cagsawa Ruins
Have you seen the remnants of the 16th-Century Church? But unfortunately the church, along with most of the town of Cagsawa was covered and destroyed by lahars caused by the deadly eruption of Mt. Mayon. Today, the place of the church was turned into a park managed by the municipal government of Daraga, Albay.
It will only cost you P20 per head to go inside and take photos of the lovely Mayon Volcano and the Church especially. Here is a Photo below that I got from our visit there last Holy Week 2017. Sadly Mayon was shy that time so I wasn't able to capture her.
3. Kawa-Kawa Hill
If you are a quiet type of a person, you will love the calming and relaxing place here in Kawa-Kawa Hill. Here, you can see Human sized sculptures Stations of the Cross and a small Hill where you can sit and relax.
4. Sumlang Lake
While for those millennials and those who would love doing water paddling and rafting. this is a good place for you. You can also see the beauty of Mayon from here, so no worries.
5. Embarcadero de Legazpi
If in all the places you've visited you get hungry, and suddenly wanted to try the food of the Bicolanos. Seafood here at the Embarcadero is so good!!!! Plus the place is beside the port and you can also see Mayon from here.
6. First Colonial Grill
This is a must try and visit restaurant here in Legazpi. If you wanted to try the sili ice cream, this restaurant offers delicious and variant flavors of the ice cream including the sili ice cream. The after taste is spicy but tolerable. really good kick though.
7. Donsol Whaleshark Interaction (Donsol, Sorsogon)
And finally, the most awaited!! Haven't seen the famous Butanding? Don't ya worry! Because Donsol offers the Whaleshark interaction, just a 1 hour ride from Legazpi City and you will enjoy this activity so much! Swim and take a photo with them(Butanding)
So there you go. Few Places and Things to try and see in Legazpi City Albay.
